With the Gitschberg Val Giovo Almencard you are entitled to use South Tyrol’s public transport free of charge, visit over 90 museums for free and, during selected periods, travel free on the two cable cars Gitschberg and Val Giovo.

With the Almencard you can use nine mountain railways (GITSCHBERG and VAL GIOVO cable cars ONLY in summer during selected periods) as well as the bus to the Alpe di Rodengo & Luson free of charge. The Almencard offers even more advantages, allowing you to use all regional buses and trains throughout South Tyrol free of charge and enjoy free entry to more than 90 museums. That leaves no space for boredom on rainy days! The varied weekly programme guarantees unforgettable skiing, hiking, cultural and family experiences during your holiday in Gitschberg Val Giovo. Arriving by train from Germany
We recommend that you arrive by train, as our hotel is perfectly located, and you only have to pay for the train ride to Brennero. From there, your journey to Fortezza (Franzensfeste), then to Rio di Pusteria and finally by cable car to Maranza is free of charge. We will send you your Almencard Plus either by post or digitally – this way, you may enjoy your journey in a relaxed way.

Terms of Use Digital Guest Card
Upon completion of the accommodation contract, the Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass (consequently Guest Pass) will be issued to the guest, which according to the decision of the South Tyrolean regional government No. 732/2022, is valid for the entire duration of their stay as well as from 0:00 on the day of arrival unto 24:00 on the day of departure.
The Guest Pass includes the use of all public transport within the “südtirolmobil” network area as well as additional services, which vary depending on the tourism organization. Detailed information can be found at: suedtirol-guestpass.info
The sole entity carrying the Guest Pass in South Tyrol is the Mobilitätskonsortium, appointed as the unified coordination point in accordance with the above decision of the South Tyrolean regional government by the Provincial Association of Tourism Organizations of South Tyrol on November 16, 2022.The details of the additional services associated with the Guest Pass and the conditions of use of the Guest Pass are communicated by the third party responsible for issuing and managing the Guest Pass.
